hi i have had my puppy for a month now and was wondering should i reg him with the dog lovers club or is this a waste of time he is not kc reg but i dont want him to show or breed just as my pet he is a staffy when i bought him i did see his mum and dad and he did come from a family home

Why would you want to register him then, if you bought him knowing he was not KC registered I would leave things as they are, no point at all in spending money for no reason.

I agree it's not worth paying out money for a piece of paper that worthless.

Why don't you register him with the Kennel Clubs companion dog register. If you do you will receive a newsletter and and I think they are planning to do a special gift scheme this Christmas. It costs £10 I think, my daughter registered her springer spaniel with the companion dog club scheme and she thinks it is worth it.

Plus the Companion Dog Scheme will do shows etc. and I know at Discover Dogs this year there was a competition for dogs who are part of this scheme.
