Hi Tanya,
I have 2 staffies, we first had Jake from 6 weeks old and introduced Ruby when Jake was 18 months old no problems at all he was so placid it was untrue, they would sleep in the same bed and eat out of the same bowl, Jake let Ruby rule the roost, however we lost Jake in July of this year at the age of 3 due to an illness, we did decide not to get another one for a little time but she was so lonely on her own we decided to have Murphy, Ruby was then 18 months old when we had Murphy aged 9 weeks all ok to begin with she was like a mother to him, however as he is getting bigger and is now 6 months old and bigger then her he is becoming more dominant no major problems but I have started to feed them seperate has Ruby is a little protective over her bowl full or empty, but if you treat them exactly the same and not show more to one than the other which is sometimes difficult with a new pup,
We hope to breed next year when Murphy is mature enough.
Hope all goes well but it all depends on the tempramant I think I was just very lucky with Jake, things are good with Murphy and Ruby but I need to keep an eye on them from time to time, I don't know how things will be when murphy is older .
Good luck
NikiH
