I have a little problem here which has nothing to do with dogs, but I thought it might be a good idea to ask on this forum.

I have been asked if I can help to find pen pals for two young girls here in Germany and I though someone on the forum might have a daughter or know someone who would be interested in writing/mailing to Germany.

Clarissa is our nephew's daughter. She is 11 years old and is in her 2nd year of english. She is an only child, her Dad runs a parachute school (really !) and her Mum helps in the office. The family have an irish wolfhound named Nala and two rabbits. They live in a very small town about one hour south of Frankfurt.

Jana is the daughter of a friend of mine. She is 13 and in her 4th year of english. The family have a Jack Russel mix called Sam, a cat called Diego and 3 rats. Her Mum is a homeopath and her Dad works for a section of an airline. They live near to Frankfurt.

I would love to hear from anyone who might be interested. I tried my old school in Sheffield but they never even replied. Maybe writing letters is too old-fashioned....

I thought about that, but then everything would go through me initially. I was so disappointed that my old school couldn't be bothered to reply, I though I would ask here. Maybe you're right and I should forget it. Pity there are so many weirdos around nowadays.

still do the posting requesting friends but just send any details out to those who are interested in a private mail . Its sad that we have to think like this but we do.
