Mine occaisionally does the same although only when she cannot pee on the exact spot without doing so!

Both my bitches have cocked their legs, they like to mark over other dogs! :)

I used to worry that mine was weird till I asked the same question and lots of people said there's did it, so you're not alone. :) She also wees on tree stumps and where other dogs have been. A few weeks ago she actually did a handstand (or pawstand) to wee on a pile of logs. :D :D

One of mine does it too! She does it when marking over my young GSD's wee. Also though she has done it generally since she had both cruciate ligaments done, I think it's just more comfortable for her. It does look funny though!
