Hello

I have a dog that seemed to constantly have hiccups until the age of 5 months, and then all of a sudden they stopped, i think its perfectly normal - but if in doubt give your vet a ring.
Perhaps hes drinking his water a little too fast, which may be what could be making him sick, but do phone the vet even if its just to put your mind at rest.

It is common for pups to have hiccups but not for it to make them sick. If it has only happened once I would not worry but if it continues to happen I would seek the advice of the vet. Are you feeding dry food, if so may be changing to a wet or semi wet food may help.
