Rottweillers are nice dogs, all dogs are nice dogs to start out it is the way you socialise and interact with them which carves their future personality, obviously some dogs are known to have different temprement like cavaliers are sweet dogs and are good with children, have you tried typing rottweiler into a search engine, you should b able to find some info :)

hope this helps

It also depends on where you get it from.
for exampl, if you get it from a good, reputable breeder, it is much more likely to be a happy, well adjusted and nice personality type whan if you got it from, say, a puppy farm/pet shop type place. You want to judge the parents temperament, but that is the same with any dog...every dog can be vicious, and every dog can be lovely. Just make sure you do lots of research.

I would also say dogs personalites are shaped by their homelife and their owners too .
