I have fell in love with this breed of dog, and would love to find out if anyone breeds them in the uk, anyone know? heres the link if you want a lookhttp://www.moloss.com/brd/ab/b017/history.html
I know of one person that has imported two of these into the uk, but wouldnt want one from this person, more than likely i would have to import one.
And i would not like the idea of doing this.

Hello

Theres two i know of that have been imported into the uk, but not saying anything against the breeder, other than i would not go to them.
Looks like i will have to look more into it, been doing all the research i can on them over the weekend, will have to let you know how i get on, as certain strains of them i know wouldnt be allowed into the uk.

Wow Dean they are beautiful! And quite a size too by the looks of them.

I'd imagine you'd have to import if this breeder isn't 'suitable' but would youu be able to find out enough about the lines temperment beforehand - you REALLY wouldn't want a bad tempered one of thos

Let me know how you get on with your search.

No i really wouldnt like to come across a bad tempered one , but i firmly belive it isnt the dog its the owner.
I love all the different breeds of mastiff, but i must admit i have taken a fancy to these dogs they look striking. Theres not much info on them on the net but i will keep reading up on them, and possibly make a few phone calls to find out more, and let you know how i get on:D

I am an admirer of the Indian breeds.  Send me an email, I may be able to help you.

not wanting to wee on anyones parade, but I am more than a bit worried about this breed making its way over here. It has never ben meant to be a pet dog. It has been bred purely for work, to hunt, maybe, but I think the site has been flowering up the history a tad.
Generally in Pakistan they are still used as a fighting dog, but not the the way of say, the APBT. Ther are little or no rules to a match, and the dogs are generally left to fight it out until one or the other gives up. they are also used in bear baiting, with dogs being released one after the other onto the poor bear.
As a result, I really cant see the dogs being sutible household pets, and are going to be a timebomb waiting to go off if sent over here with no "work" to do.
Id have some doubts asto the purity of the dogs too. they are not as closely bred for gameness etc such as the apbt would have been, so mixing and matching is bound to go on, just breeding worker to worker.
The reason the dog is falling in popularity over ther is because the APBT has been discovered, and is basicaly wiping the board with the Kuttha.
The true Am Bull has been ruined by being taken from its working life as a boar and farm dog, lets not do the same here!

The fawn coloured one reminded me of a lighter build Fila - they're lovely looking dogs
