Hi

We have a 2yr old male SBT and we are thinking of getting a second, we have found a
a dog that is available but he's male, will this be ok as I thought two males wouldn't
get along but the breeder thinks there shouldn't be a problem.

We are going to see him tonight and if all goes well will be bringing him home
but I wanted to make sure we weren't making a mistake

Many thanks

James

Hiya
I personally wouldnt keep to male staffords together... I certainly wouldnt consider bringing in an older male to my home. Staffords are and can be very terrotoral (sp??)
I guess you know your own dog best but be careful... if u choose to take on the other dog be sure NEVER to leave them alone..

as an after thought how old is the new dog?

sorry I forgot to say the new dog is a puppy, what you have said confirms
what I thought though

Thanks for your help

I am looking to home another staffy maybe next year . I considered another male purely because I dont want to breed and I have been told by countless Staffy breeders not to home two males together -even by my own dogs breeder .
