 Not sure how this scam works

Is he bouncing the cheques or reselling the dogs or what?

Please join the forum and tell us about it - it's simple and free :)

The person doing the scam gets the dog and the cash and the person who fell for it gets sweet F all!!!
Don't know how anyone could think that it would be anything other than a scam though as it's so obvious????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The scam works by offering to pay you well over the odds for your dog (by cheque). They then ask you to send the difference to them (for whatever reason they give ) . People have returned the difference to them and then the original cheque has bounced leaving the owner out of pocket :(
I am actually surprised that some people are so niave as to go ahead with this transaction ?? Maybe I am just too cynical

It comes in lots of guises - quite a lot of supposed "african" noblemen or oil people use this scam where they ask for your bank details and then basically fleece you .
I actually dont feel sorry for people who respond to these scams as they are so blatant :o

wouldn't the easy answer be to wait for his cheque to clear before sending one to him? :)

What a laugh that site is Jeangenie. I've been reading it for the last half hour! They are a bunch of very funny guys. I think they would have to be on my "top ten to dinner list" just for the entertainment!!!
