if you win can you then go into the group at the end

you win best AVNSC can only go into BIS when the show is not on the group system

if you win AVNSC group then you can go into your group but only when the show is judged on the group system.

hope you understand that, if its not right then can someone please correct me.

It is counted as if it were a breed class so if you win a AVNCS class and the challenge you can do the group if there is one or the Best in show if there isn't. Should you win the group, and it is surprising how often you may, then you can go forward to the BIS to represent your group. Good luck and enjoy, but beware if there is a AVNCS Working or even AVNSC and a AV Working you have to win the AVNSC to go forward. If there is only AV Working then you can go forward into the Best in Show as you are an un-beaten dog. Insert what ever your group is in place of Working.

I know your question has been answered, but, just wanted to say do go in the AVNSC classes. So many people will only go to a show if their breed has classes, Like Jackie says you never know, and I once won best avnsc, the group and then reserve best in show, qualifying my dog for crufts (although he did qualify in a champ show before this). They are just as much fun.

there is a reason for not going to AVNSC classes. being in gundogs it alwaysed used to be an american cocker that won AVNSC gundog or AVNSC in general! also if a show on the same day is on that has breed classes i would rather support that show.

saying that i am takin my aussie into an AVNSC next weekend but thats because its a good judge!!!:D
