i feed my terrier on naturediet, i wanted to feed lab puppy on the puppy version, but it only has 10 % protein in it, is this ok for a lab??
Hi, have you made a mistake re feeding 10% protein? I think you must have done :)

what do you mean christine?

Well ten percent protein is extremely low to feed a healthy dog with. Thats why I thought you`d made a typo mistake.

Hi, Naturediet is a wet food so when you say its only 10 per cent protein, you are comparing it to dry food I think. My puppy is on the naturediet puppy and when I spoke to the people at naturediet, she said you have to multiply the protein content by about 2.5 in order to compare with dry complete. As fed, I think naturediet puppy works out about 30 per cent protein. ( I may not be exactly right but its something along those lines )
Hi Linda, thanks for that :) I thought naturediet was a dry complete food, thats why I was wondering only 10%????

Now I understand :)

what breed puppy have you got?
so it works out at 25% protein, which is fine for a large breed puppy??
Many thanks x
Thanks, I was wondering about that too, NatureDiet Puppy has 12% proteien so yes its approximately 30% protein (compared to dry food)

Hi, I have a medium breed (cocker spaniel) She is fourteen weeks old today. Havn't had any experience with large breeds but I'm sure other experienced posters will give you their opinion. I'm sure naturediet puppy would be suitable for the first four or five months though?
