I am getting a pug puppy at the end of the month and i was wondering if anyone had any housetraining tips. I was going to get a crate for him to sleep in at night. Would it be best downstairs or in my room with me. How much time should he be spending in the crate?

I would keep the crate in your room at night and onle crate the pup when you are unable to watch the pup. There has been a alot of topics on housetraining and I'm sure if you do a search you will get alot of information.

Always take pup out when he wakes up, after eating, after playing. Watch for the signs alot of sniffing and circling usually means the little one needs to go. Always go out with him and tell him to go pee/hurry up which ever you use and go to the same spot each time and alot of praise/treat.
