Blimey - saw the first Christmas tree up in my area today complete with all the lights and trimmings in the window and fake snow
I am amazed - its only the middle of November !!!!
I always leave mine til about two weeks before the big day. I admit I love putting it up but after a few days it gets on my nerves - takes up too much space and I am always glad when it gets taken down again

My friends next door neighbour has got the lot up, the lights, the decorations, loads of snowmen & reindeer in her garden, looks nice, but not in November. :(
I think she's after attention.
My friend says she does it every year & was in local papers last year!

A question about xmas trees.....we have always had artificial ones but we're having a REALLY big family xmas this year-me, hubby and all EIGHT kids + 2 fiances/boyfriends!!So I've set my heart on a real xmas tree-a reaaly big one!!! Well having 2 males dogs I'm a little concerned that they might 'get carried away' and water it for me LOL. Has any one else with male dogs had any problems in this area

Only once! After that (very soon after that!) we learned that Christmas trees are best raised onto a box ..........

I worried about this last year as we always have a real tree and it was Hudsons first Christmas ...needn't have worried ..he was fine , gave a sniff or two and then was told in no uncertain terms NO!
