Our 4 month old puppy is in the final stages of kidney failure, has been in the Vet Hospital for over a week and is unlikely to live more than another few days.
As she has been so ill, we have prepared ourselves for the very worst (I actually washed her water bowl this morning and then put it in the cupboard rather than putting it back on the floor, a sign I think that we have come to terms with the inevitable loss of little Jenny).
We would like to get another puppy as soon as we possibly can, our 9 year old daughter is distraught and the house is so empty. We have had rescue dogs before, but this time we would like a youing Flat Coat. If anyone has any contacts or knows anyone out there who may be able to help us in our search I would be grateful.

Very sorry to hear your news about your puppy. Liberty is right contact Shirley Johnson for contacts. If you would like to have more information about the breed such as health status etc... then email and I will send you information about the health schemes we put our flatcoats through prior to breeding. I do know of a couple of breeders who will be having a litter in the near future, and who might be abe to help you.
