I have a 7 month old Basset bitch who this week has started peeing indoors. Is this a sign of her coming into season or could it be something else?

Think you may be correct and she will soon start her season, send her out as you would a young pup for a while and hope it will stop soon.

It could be her season or she may have a urine infection. If in doubt take a sample of urine to vets for testing, she will need antibiotics if this is the case. If the urine is thick, dark or smelly it is usually a sign of an infection.

Best not to leave it too long if it is an infection.
