hello,

i need some advice on Royal Canin. I am thinking of changing from Pedigree as it only gives you a predicted weight and I want to be careful I am not over feeding my 6 month old pup (even though we weigh out each meal) and also I need a food that people can recommend for good health and coat as I am showing him.

We were recommended this for our Akita puppy & kept to it for a few months, but as it meant a 30 mile trip to obtain it, we changed to Pedigree & never regretted it. His litter brother was kept on & developed exzema - don't know if that's coincidence or not!
Altho' I don't like fat puppies, I always felt our lad was too thin on RC & anyway, he didn't like it very much!
I don't feed complete now, he's on raw green tripe & Pedigree mixer, 98lb, fit & healthy with a good coat - and it's much cheaper!!!!
