we have been looking for a long time now trying to find a brindle or red bitch we have looked on many sites including "champ dogs"so we was wondering if any one can help us please.cheers

Bitch or dog? Show or pet? And how much are you expecting to spend? What lines do you like? Where have you tried?

There are quite a few brindles about - good reds are a little harder to find... I've been looking for months now!

We would like a bitch and for a family pet. We have been looking for a while now and have been told price in region of £550 - £650.

The reason we put red or brindle is because every puppy we have found are white and they just don't take our fancy.

That's fairly expensive - unless the dog is a proven show winner and not a pup. I've been quoted around the £450 range and that's for a show quality dog (or as best you can 'guess')

I've been looking for a red bitch for ages now (activley about 6 months) but I'm quite fussy about bloodlines and I only want from a couple of kennels, so it's probably my own fault I've not got her yet :(

I used to dislike whites too but I've seen a couple of nicer ones recently (or maybe I'm just getting suckered by the big grins??)

There are some great dogs of all ages in the Staffi rescue centres and they will all have been assessed to ensure they are suitable with other dogs, kids and cats. If you email me I can give you their number. There's a good rescue website too that has quite a few staff's looking for 'forever homes'.

I saw some brindle pups recently but I can't remember where - paper or site - but I'll try to find them again for you ;)

2nd EDIT - :o... why did I read this as staffordshire bull terriers? lol - getting obsessed now ;) Anyway the same thing goes for English Bulls (which are just as lovley) :D

EDIT - Bullhawk have some puppies due any time but there might be a waiting list for them - Black brindle :D
