My best friend is getting married in January, (registry office) I'm her cheif bridesmaid/witness.
A week or so ago, she gave out her invites, She's recieved quite a few reply's.
I'm trying to think of something different to the normal acceptence card to give back my acceptance.
Some family member sent her a chocolate plaque with a lovely message on it, I thought it was great, and wished I'd thought of that.
Any Ideas, something different.

Hi, how about one of the giant size cookies with a message written on it? The cookie places inn big shopping malls do them - I think you order, pay and then collect in about an hour. Or for something she can keep what about some glassware or china with the reply written on it in relief paste? It is so easy to do, and if you packaged it beutifully could make a treasured lasting momento. Any attractive plain glass (possibly champagne flutes?) or plain china will do. You can buy the releif paste in tiny tubes at any craft or art shop, it comes in gold, silver, pewter, balck and possibly a lot of other tones. If you go this route a tip is decide carefully what you are writing and where, put it down on paper exactly as you want to see it on the item, hold the glass/plate/etc steady, and make sure you are resting your writing arm on the table you are using! You can add little curly decorations, hearts etc. etc. if you want. I have done a couple of sets of flutes as judges gifts, and plates as baby welcome gifts. They all seemed very well received! It dries quite quickly, and is washable. However, if you want it dishwasher safe you have to oven bake, which I dont recomend for fine glassware!

That sounds like a lovely idea, But I know I couldn't personally do it myself, I'm no artist :)
But I could choose something in glass and get it professionally engraved. It's just wording it right, as it's usually quite expensive, so it will have to be short but sweet.
I'll def look in to it.
