P.S Hows your oldie doing? hope you are both well:)

Michelle:)
- By liberty Date 08.11.03 23:55 UTC
Hi Michelle, I've been wearing Aromatics for years now (feels like forever actualy) ;) Sorry to hear about your Mum, I guess from your post she has moved onto a nicer place.
My old girl is about the same today, too early for the tablets to take effect I guess, but still eating, and showing an interest in life, which always encourages me.

Take care
Michelle:)

Sorry to hear about your Mum, Michelle :( Memories are wonderful things, remember all the fun times;
As for Jazz, get him to stop flirting with all the blondes (G. Retrievers) , little devil :)

liberty :)
- By jazzywoo Date 09.11.03 00:18 UTC
Hi Liberty

Jazz flirts with them because A) he has good taste;) B)he needs a little sister:D :D I WILL convince other half very soon:) and C) because Purdy (2yrs) likes to play lots and Holly (8 yrs) likes me to tickle her tummy:D :D

Michelle:)

ROFL @ Christine :D

My fav for during the day is White Linen by Estee Lauder and Halston (cant remember who makes it and they dont sell it over here any more so stock up when daughter goes to USA). I like Chanel No. 5 for the evening and (my favourite of all) is First by Van Cleef and Arpels. - nicest 'grown up' perfume to me. :D :p

I daren't wear perfume. There's something in all of them (even make-up is dodgy!) that drives Harry and Piglet wild! If only it had had that effect on men when I was a younger .... ;)
- By chaliepud [gb] Date 09.11.03 12:33 UTC
I don't like perfumes really, only one I don't mind is Eau de Wet Dog, lurve that smell when you get in the car with wet dogs!!!
- By susan blundell [gb] Date 09.11.03 12:37 UTC
Very favourite is TRESOR by Lancome and COOL WATER.

- By Lorelei [gb] Date 09.11.03 15:15 UTC
I aspire to Joy but in the absence of a lottery win, its Ghost by day and Ghost Deepest Night for those candlelit moments. SB dosent wear aftershave but he smells lovely anyway. :)
- By gundogsrbest [gb] Date 09.11.03 15:24 UTC
dont see the point in perfumes they all smell the same to me, then im always told ive got no sense of smell or taste, quite often i drink milk that has 'gone off' without realising, no ill affects though
- By lel [gb] Date 09.11.03 15:35 UTC
My very favourite is Armani followed by Issey Miyake and Samsara :)
- By Kerioak Date 09.11.03 17:27 UTC
I dislike vanilla which seems to be the basis for many perfumes and have a very acid skin which can make many smell "off" soon after using.

Can you lot supply a list of perfumes that are not based on vanilla so next time I go shopping I can have a tryout of some?

TIA
Christine
- By liberty Date 09.11.03 17:41 UTC
How about Tweed :D :D

liberty ;)
- By LF [gb] Date 09.11.03 17:47 UTC
Oooo Liberty you are wicked!! :D Oopps, I hope no one wears Tweed!

Christine, you could try Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea. I loathe the smell of vanilla and this one hasn't got the slightest whiff of it! It's also nice and light and fresh smelling

Lesley
- By Melodysk [gb] Date 09.11.03 17:48 UTC
My mother always wore Tweed and if I ever go past anyone who is wearing it , I am always reminded of her :)
- By liberty Date 09.11.03 17:51 UTC
Sorry Mel :(

liberty
- By Melodysk [gb] Date 09.11.03 17:54 UTC
No need to be sorry :D It was good ..reminded me of the scent ;) :p
- By LF [gb] Date 09.11.03 17:52 UTC
My Granny wore it and every Christmas my Mum and Dad gave her a bottle. When she passed away and they were doing her house, they found all these unopened bottles of Tweed in her dressing table. :)

Lesley

Edited to say sorry too Mel :(
- By Melodysk [gb] Date 09.11.03 17:55 UTC
Don't be daft ;)
- By Lokis mum [gb] Date 09.11.03 17:57 UTC
My favourite is still Chanel No 5 - and Rieve Gauche for every day!

Margot (v old/v classical:D :D)
- By gwen [gb] Date 09.11.03 18:11 UTC
I adore Angel (not good for the vanilla haters) and wear it in the winter, in the summer I adore Azuree (Estee lauder) onlly been able to get it in the USA or Selfridges on Oxford St for years, so a new bottle was an excuse for a bit of a shopping trip, but this year Fenwicks in Newcastle have started stocking it - Yippee :). Aftershave, Obsession alwasy made me go weka at the knees on my Ex. Oh, and Puglet has Oh my Dog, which smell soooo good on her!
bye

I still have a bar of Brut soap in a drawer and love the smell. I think it was too highly advertised and put many people off years ago.

- By Melodysk [gb] Date 11.11.03 10:01 UTC
I remember there was a time (80's ? ) when if a man walked past me wearing Paco Rabanne , I would almost turn around and go after him :D :D

- By Isabel Date 11.11.03 12:37 UTC
