Can't find anything on here, not after one but would love to know a bit more about them.
Dolly and i met one this morning and the owner said to let my dog off her lead, as her dog can handle itself.
I have never ever laughed so much in all my life, this hardy little thing wanting to be chased by a great dane.....It ran rings round my dog.
You may be aware that we are having lonely walks as other owners are crossing over to get away from us, dirty looks at my dog then at me as if i shouldn't own this breed.
Then this lovely woman, smoking a fag, wearing wellies, standing by the pond with this brilliant little guy!!
Best morning walk for ages!!!
Sarah.

Oh Margot if ever i think about getting another dog i will seriously consider this breed, i have never seen anything like it.
To be blunt it didn't give a toss about Dolly's size. (Soooooo refreshing)

Yep, that's a Pomeranian for you. A big dog in a little dog's body. My mum's Pomeranian's rule my Spanish and they are about 10 times bigger.
They are great to obedience train, some are good at agility. They are just a wonderful breed. Although some people say they are I've only had one line that is and they are not yappy!!
I remember once when I took Mel to my vets and this big man all of a sudden fell for my Pomeranian. Mel totally changed my vets way of thinking about the breed.

Always said when I was too old for my breed, I'd buy a Pom. What have I done? Bought an Akita! Will have a Pom one day tho', in the dim & distant future!

Hi Sarah,
Lovely to hear about the Pom - I'm going to add a second dog next year and they are on my list.
I have a Cairn, she could care less about the size of another dog. She adores a Bernese Mountain dog and a Newfie and appears to have no idea she is about as big as their heads. :-)
