Hi everybody,

I changed Alfie (8 month Rott) over to Autarky three weeks ago. He has a sensitive digestive system but is not doing well at all on Autarky he constantly has 'cow pat poo's' - sorry about the subject. Does anyone know of any appetising lamb and rice complete foods??? Obviously Autarky is Chicken and Rice and Alf has been on Lamb and rice before (Arden Grange-but he didn't like the taste and it was a struggle to get him to eat it) his poops were very good on this. Has anyone heard of Judges Choice lamb and rice complete. Any idea's????

Thankx Tina

Hi, Tina,
I am no expert, only just joined champdogs myself but my mum put her dog onto Autarky and had the same problem, lots of poo and cow pat consistency!!!! However her pup is only 3 months old. She kept her on it for about 3 weeks and she now uses James Wellbeloved dry complete. I think they also do a Lamb and rice and turkey and rice if that helps. It is one of the premium dry completes. Personally I am feeding my pup 3mths old on nature diet puppy. I think its just a case of trial and error, what suits one dog will not suit another etc. My mums pup is doing well on JWB and poop is now fine.

Hi Tina,

You can try Burns - order directly from their Web site.

Try live yoghurt...that is a probiotic.
