I am looking to use (happy to pay rent) a fenced field in the Banstead, Surrey
area to do some one to one recall training with a young dog (Gundog breed)
Anyone out there with a fenced field I could use in the afternoons for
about 15 minutes at a time (don't mind if horses in it) Getting desperate as
this dogs needs to have free excersice but not until under correct control

Be a bit wary of being offered a field with horses in....your dogs may not mind, but the horse might!!!!!!
My horses know all my dogs & are used to being excercised with 30 hounds every day, but when someone decided to try & walk through with their labrador, my youngest horse went in for the kill...striking out at the dogs head with his front feet & if the dog hadnt managed to get under the fence he would have been killed.

Yes I agree, we have walked thruough a field which was not often used by others and the horses did take rather an exception to our well behaved dog, also of course cows can be really territorial and protective, just in case you are thinking they may be a good alternative LOL!!

I am well used to horses having ridden for many years, but still some horses hate strange dogs and that's a fact :(
