Hi,
Been reading through the post on cleaning laminate and thought I'd ask this.
We currently only have laminate in the lounge.
We've found that when the dogs come in the lounge they are both unsteady on their feet.
We are currently doing the kitchen and haven't decided on flooring yet. We did think of getting laminate, which were also considering for the hall and landing, however with them both slipping and always chasing each other etc were not too sure.
Does anyone else find thier dogs unsteady on laminate.
Considering the tile effect laminate for the kitchen, it doesn't seem as slippy.
Any other ideas appreciated.
Hi cazf I actually asked a question simular to this in september and got loads of replys, if you search for laminate flooring and slipping it will bring it up. We have ended up keeping ours but have got carpet runners all over our kitchen/dining room floor so our puppy doesn`t slip. There were loads of useful links as well in my previous posts to laminate flooring sites.

Thanks i'll try that now.
We did the hall and conservatory with mind to do all downsatirs but the girls when chasing Eric (the cat) slip and slide so is it feasible, can I have what I want, so much easier to clean. We were worried about the girls doing themselves an injury

Try this site caz latest fashion in flooring :) www.karndean.com ,
Its not slippery like alot of flooring and all you have to do is get a wet mop out and wipe it once in a while . easy to clean and water proof;)
basicly theres 5 ranges ...
knight tile / kombination/van goh /michelangelo and da vinci.
If you find a tile or several tiles you like you can create any design you like as long as there in the same range.
There are borders /motifs that can be added too in what ever colour you want to make them. as long as there in the same range .
There are feature strips and now new metalic strips that can be added as well so if you see somthing you like you can make it to how you like it best.
look at the pictures for some good ideas and request a broucher:)
Good luck
