Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Lambs Liver

Just a very quick question - is it ok to feed a dog boiled lambs liver. My american cocker is on James wellbeloved dried food but she gets bored with it and loves to eat out food!!!

So once or twice a week she has either some fish (coley), chicken and ocassionally liver added into her food in the evening. These are all either cooked in the microwave or boiled. She adores all of them. Just wanted to know if lambs liver is nutritious for dogs or should I not be feeding her this?

A little bit is fine. All offal though should only be fed in small quantities, and not too often.

Liver is an excellent source of Vitamin A; it can, however, like all offal, make your dog a little loose :) I feed my dogs liver (raw) once a week.
