hi,i would like to know my bitch is on day 56 and has for the past 2 days had a clear/milkiy jelly type discharge is this normal?this is the first litter i have let her have.also how oftern should i be able to see the puppies move?when i had bonnie scaned they said she had more than 6 pups so couldnt tell me how many just that she'd a belly full,so i thought i would be able to see them move quite alot by now.
any help will be taken on board.thankyou.
anna
it is quite normal for this discharge a few days before she whelps, as my vet told they are just getting ready, as long as the discharge is not green and it smell, then this is normal. if she is fine then the pups should be fine.
hope this helps

think we(well bonnie) may be in early stages.shes restless digging and panting.
this is our first time and was wondering if anyone else with a springer knows how long this normaly lasts before we get a pup.
i know all bitches are diffrent just to get an idea.bonnies breeder says they are normaly quick.at moment digging anywhere except in her box.
thanks
