Hi
Can anyone give me some advice. We are planning to go away over xmas/new year - only to a farm in england but how will this effect an 11 week year old puppy - would the whole experience be too distressing?

As long as your puppy has had all of its vaccinations then I think your puppy will have a great time, as long as you don't act like it is a big deal then your puppy will simply take all the new sights and sounds as part of their early socialisation experience, if however you make a big deal and try to protect your puppy from things that you consider scary, then you will only encourage fear. Include your puppy in everything you do, you will have fun and so will your puppy.

What about introducing the puppy to a cage? It may be safer and feel more happy with a familiar bed area to return to?!!
