I have a wonderful labrador who is 6 months old. We are enjoying him so much we thought we would like to get a playmate for him and so have decided to have another Lab. When we got Wilson it was in the summer months, which was ideal for training, being able to keep the back door open. So we decided we would like to wait for the better weather to come, around mid April to get our next puppy. I know it is a long way off, but we had problems with getting our first puppy, being let down by the breeders. So if anyone out there plans to have black (preferred) puppies for sale around that time, please email me with details.

Why not have a look at the Breeders pages, here on Champdogs. Hopefully someone will be able to help.

Hi Debbie,

Depending if you are looking for show lines or working lines it may be worth buying the Pedigree book of Labradors as there is about 80 breeders/exhibitors details in the book, you could call some of them give them your intentions and get the ball rolling most would be happy to help.

My hubby has recently bought the book so if you want details of where to buy it I can forward them to you..

Pam
