Topic Dog Boards / Behaviour / Any puppy classes in wirral or chester?
- By tranmerefan [gb] Date 01.11.03 20:49 UTC
Does anyone know of any puppy classes in south wirral/ chester area. My springer pup is only 9 weeks old (Nero) and has already learnt a lot (sit, go to bed, fetch etc.). i live near to a busy park and infant school, with many other dogs and small (noisy) children around so i need to get him to some classes as soon as he has had his jabs. Also as this is the first dog of my own i also need to get into good habits, for the benefit of both of us! living near the park i see some very irresponsible owners, and am desperate not to be one.

Try www.apdt.co.uk/trainers and specify your location -they list competeant puppy trainres.
I've just brought my puppy home today- He's semms tpo have grown on the lasr week!
He came home in a small crate OK but does klike his big cate in the living room , although ther are no mo shouts & he's settling down. I dont fancy crammimg him into a smaller create to be by my bedside!
Although I spread nappy papers all over the fllor' we have three accidents - all wee's - none on the paper but he's overcome hos fear of thenct0rtae - went in to get hos favpourite toy just nopw. Bestto let him settle down? - Ive given him two pillows and a hot water bott;e wrapped in my sweater ( unwashed). How were doing?

Hi Gemma
Gus loved going there - Erica keeps the classes to about six pups and its good for socilising them as well.
Only thing I was a bit peeved about was she kept stopping and starting the classes . By this I mean she finished the puppy classes and then decided she was taking a few months break rather than running the classes one after the other and she did this a few times :(
The pupy classes themselves are ok though
Did Sue tell you Roly met Gus ?

I live near to Ellesmere Port and don't drive so West Kirby is a little far but if she does home visits thats great. I'll def look into it...thanks for the tip.
