I am looking for a nice stud dog for my red and white 2 and half year old boxer bitch she is now into the fourth day of her season and I need to act quickly.

Can you help me.

I live in Bromley Kent

You have left it far to late to mate your bitch this time around. If you get one 'quickly' you could be causing heart ache for yourself and all the puppy buyers as the chances are the stud dog would not have been heart tested nor in deed your bitch. It is totally irresponsible to breed from a Boxer without having the heart graded. You should only breed from Boxers whio have been graded either 0 or 1. Best bet is to leave it this tiem around and start thoroughly researching a good quality tested dog for next time and make sure your bitch is tested to.

Also Hip Scoring would be a good idea, and check with BVA if any eye disese needs checking for :) Make haste slowly:) Breeding is a big responsibility to the puppies, their owners, and the breed.

I would always advise joining your local breed club, attending talks and seminars about the breed, and breeding and health matters. Also contact your bitches breeder for advice, if she is well bred then they will be very interested in ensuring she is bred to a good dog, as it is their breeding lines reputaion too.
