Get this!!!!
Mia, 4 months old, has just had a bath this morning. Beautifully blow dried, nails done, smelling like a rose and out she goes for a pee.
I go out to the bin, where is she???
I call her, no Mia, i start talking to her i a stupid squeeky voice and i get a woof in reply, i still can't see her.
After 5 mins searching i find her, in a hole, behind the bin, with a pathing slab over most of it. She was hiding in her little 'cave', covered in mud from head to toe.
No-one knows rage until they experience this! No-one!!!!!!
I'm sitting here doing breathing excercises, trying not to loose it!
So back to the bath we shall go and she won't be out for a pee again today without a lead!!!!!
Just thought i'd share this with you all!

Commiserations Caz,
My Mia (16 mth Mal ) is going for a Wash & Blow Dry on Saturday I won't be taking my eyes off her afterwards, just in case. My previous dog was an Akita now I have two mals.
p.s. Keep tabs on her and not CD when you re-bath her :p

Hi Caz ,i know just how you feel , i bathed Lola (Westie x Lhasa Apso creamy white in colour )....NOT a good colour for a pup who models herself on a squirrel,/ cat ,if she is not trying to jump UP trees, she is burying ANYTHING and EVERYTHING under them!!...i have also bought a clicker to try and train her with ,took her for a walk .tried to find her clicker it had vanished!!.....we eventually found it buried in a flower pot ..along with assorted biscuits ,tissues ..two pairs of daughters thongs ..and a slipper !!!!!!!and she stands there smiling (oh yes they do smile dont they!!)her feet look as though she has black wellies on ,her beard is black also ,her "creamy white coat" is now sludge grey ..its been raining a lot here ..! and all this within 1 hour of having her bath ..!!and the kitchen floor! ...lets not go there!!!!!!! how do you all cope with pups/dogs hellbent on NOT staying clean??????? bye Sue & (in the dog house)!! Lola ....now there's an idea ....

The problem is Mia won't learn because she loves the bath!!! She thinks its so funny watching me scrub her down, no amount of Blue White shampoo working on those grubby little white feet!!!!!
The front porch floor, once white, is now black/grey with the dirt. If i see another mop today i'll scream! Re-locating to Barbados seems a really good idea when i look out of the window at the mud bath that was once my garden lol!

I'm furious too,the two pups started fighting over a sock! Now sox has a cut on her ear where shady has tried to rip it off and i'm showing her on sunday, well supposed to be!!

Oh god sand. thats all you need!!!! Akita fights can be quite nasty, i was unfortunate enough to witness one, no missing ears like, just a cheek!!!!
I like how they share everything and then something trivial sets off a war! Stupid animals!!! Lol :-)

Hi Miasmum, what blue/white shampoo ?i wonder if it is a similar concept to the little blue bag used for getting clothes whiter some years ago,any help in getting those little white feet clean would be much appreciated. Many Thanks ,Sue & Lola xx

I use Vitacoat, you can pick it up in Pets at home and some good pet shops. Again, Professional choice do a good one in a variety of sizes right up to a 5lt bottle, handy for white doggies!!!
i can't do links so....
go to guiede search
Utility group
Japanese Akitas
breeders
look for the kennel Nosferatu- Farmbrook
On their home page there is a link to professional choice pet products. They have a range of excellent food, grooming and cleaning products.
Glad to help

P.s. its just to shine up the white of the coat, like glo white i suppose! You can get Redener for red dogs, Blacker for black dogs and so on and so forth. Good stuff!!!!

Must be a Mia thing...this serves as a warning to anyone thinking of naming their dog "Mia", don't? My Mia is a hooligan!
