please can anyone help. I need to find a light coloured show lead, either a rope style or leather lead as my retreiver is very pale and I have been advised to buy one that doesn't distract from his colour.

Can anyone advise me where the best place is to buy one? I know that I will find one at a championship show but we have got 3 open shows to go to before we attend the championship and I am getting a bt worried that I can't get one in time for his show on 23rd of nov.

well ur best bet is at you next show to look at the stands there. Even if you just buy a really cheep one untill you fnd a nice leather one. Open shows do had stands aswell. The other thing is to ask if you can borrow one from the breeder or another doggy friend untill you find one!

and yes a light colour is best for a light dog.
