We are looking to find more info about these dogs. Are they good with children, as we have visiting children. My son is 22 and daugher 19 both away at school and one lives in CA - my husband and I both work but now need someone to come home to (as a mother I need the nuturing section if you know what I need). My husband travels and I am home by myself. I have a fenced in yard and live in a great neighborhood. I am not sure that I want to go the puppy route. But am looking for a youg adult. Are these dogs full of energy or do they like lazy afternoons at times. Can you supply any info about these dogs to me - we are looking for a medium sized dog. Any info would be appreciated. I can be reached at MOMMYC4632@aol.com.

my partners family has always had springers as working dogs, as the name implies they are full of energy, they really can 'spring', the lad they've got at the moment never seems to stop and he's nearly two!!! they are very affection creatures and from my experience don't understand 'lazy afternoons' unless you mean running around playing at home instead of going out!! they are beautiful dogs and impossible not too love too bits, but if you want lazy days i'd look for another breed, however if you want someone to keep busy with go for a springer!!!!
Best of luck,
Kayley
