I am interested in getting an English Bull Terrier. I have 2 children at home (age 6 aand 2) and 2 cats. How would a Bull Terrier fit in? My wife and I lead active lives sso exercise would not be a problem. Are there any signs to look for when chosing a good pup? Any info on the breed would be greatly appreciated. Martin1

Hi guest, i dont see why a bull terrier wouldnt fit in, firstly their outstandind with kids, friendly playful etc however you probably realize their extremely strong and very exitable so the dog could knock over your two year old without meaning to and get in trouble, have you considered a Miniature Bull terrier, their smaller and calmer but still have excellent temp's with the kids. The one problem could be the cats, i have four dogs ( one staffie, 2 bulldogs and a french bulldog ) who all live with two cats and their fine but you will have to tred carefully when getting a pup, you must make sure the pup realizes the cats are to be left alone. Bull Terrier pups price around £500- £650 for a good pup, miniatures possibly a little more. Saying you take exercise is good, Bull Terriers need a daily run to let of steam.

Good Luck
