I have a problem... I have a 9 year old Bichon Frise named Prince... and I love him very much but he is getting up there in years and I would love to have a baby by him to carry on... But from where I am in the little ole town of Winchester KY. I can't find anybody with a bitch that hasn't already been fixed... If you or anybody else can help me with my problem please reply... why are you just wanting to breed him for the hell of it to just any bitch.
have you ever shown him is he a good example of his breed if not why are you wanting him to have pups that are going to need a good home and alot of hard work has he got all his health checks up to date if not don't breed him not one who cares for there bitch would use him if he isn't any if not most of the above

Can understand that you would like a puppy from your present dogs lines but the best way would be to contact his breeder and buy a puppy from his lines. He is too old to start on a career as a stud dog and you would need to do a good deal of research to find the right bitch and even if you do you have to perswade the owner of the bitch to fall in with your plan and unless your dog is right out of the top draw that may well take a year or two.
