Hi,
I was wondering on average how long i would have to exercise a cavalier for each day and whether they are easy to train or not.
What makes them a gret family pet and are they very easy going? (eg. do they worked up easily and can get over excited which leads to aggresion)
Thanks, for your help.

It all depends on the age of the Cav. I have 2, age 7 and 5mths. They go for a walk in the morning (about 10mins), early afternoon (about 20 mins) and another early evening for about 30-45mins. On weekends we take them out to the seaside or for long walks in the country. they can be very energetic dogs but remember they shouldnt be over walked when pups. They can train quite easily as they are inteligantbut it all depends on how much time you spend with them.
They are a great family pet because they are loving, loyal or affectionate. Ihave never know a cav to be aggresive as they are so good natured, they might lick you alot though !! Mine are great with young kids and other people, when young they can be quite exciteable and jump up alot, but most pups do.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as a loving family pet for anyone of any age.
If you are looking for a Cav please check out breeder carefully and NEVER buy from a puppy farm.

I also have 2 cavs aged 2 and a bit and 18 months.Luckily I have a large garden and as they constantly chase each other round playing,I probably don't need to walk them as much. They still get 20-30 mins walk in the evening come rain or shine.
