Hi,
I guess no one on the board has Parson Russell terriers.
I think that they are super looking dogs and considered them before I got my terrier, a Cairn. I decided on a Cairn because they are a bit quieter than Parson Russells tend to be and are also good with other dogs and children. Plus, I had owned a Cairn before and was more familiar with their temperament.
I believe that Parson's have a bit more "spark and fire" than many of the terriers, so I bet you will have plenty to keep you busy when you get your puppy - and loads of laughs too. Most dogs get along with others if they are well socialised when they are young. Get your puppy out and meeting other dogs as soon as he or she is through with its innoculations and you should not have any problems.
Regards,
Stacey
I got a parson just over a month ago, and she is definitely sparky ! she's a lovely little dog and very very lively. As long as u don't mind the occasional high pitched yipping and nipping at your feet ull love a parson, ours is only 12 weeks now so i'm sure she'll grow out of these things eventually :)
hi hope you dont mind me being nosy but were did you get her
we just got her from someone in the local area, not a particular breeder as such, so she's not KC registered or anything

hi, i have a jack russell. we inherited him when my sister in law died.we've had him for nearly a year now and he's five so i don't really know anything about what they are like as pups but he is absolutely brilliant. he has such character (this from me who never wanted a dog),he loves being off his lead but needs to be kept an eye on because he has a need to investigate anything and everything. he also likes nipping other dogs which can be a bit dangerous because alsations seem to be his favourite. a site i found helpful was :- www.mal.douglas.btinternet.co.uk/jackrussells.htm it described our dog to a t.
