I have a five month old puppy and have noticed that on the front of her upper gums some teeth seem to be growing in front of others. Is this normal? Also all of her teeth are white except for one of the large incisors which is a brown colour - is this tooth likely to be diseased or is it normal? (It doesn't seem to be loose or causing her any pain). Do dogs change their teeth like humans or do they only have one set?

Both the things you talk of are normal in that they often occur. The milk teeth remaining after the adult teeth are through is common and if they do not fall out within 2 or 3 weeks the vet will remove them. The miss-coloured tooth may well be caused by medication given by to the pup or the dam and all you need to do is ask the vet to check it next time you are there.
Yes, dogs do change their teeth like humans and that is what is happening, the discoloured tooth is likely to be one of the new ones but you may be lucky and find it is a milk tooth.
