please help if you know of a good dog trainers in northampton. i am trying to find one that does positive reward training. my staff is not good with other dogs when he is on the lead but fine off the lead so want to try and sort this some how, also get him better trained. some say they want to do a assessment at home first but then charge the earth. he now has a halti even though he not fond of it he is getting better as give choccy drops when put it on. thanks if u can help

We've been going to the classes at Moulton Equine Centre on Friday evening - until our surprise discovery that our bitch was in an "interesting condition"....;) The trainers there use reward based training and are APDT trained.

hi cathy, thank you so much for recomending viv howe to me. went to see her last night and then had a very long conversation with her this morning (nearly an hour). what a revelation some one who can see all sides of a story and not be afraid to admit she might not know the answer. she has come to the conclusion as i did that or staffie did not mean to hurt our pup but only discipline her. however we both agree in hind sight that he has not been socialised as a pup so he did not know where the finite boundaries were. she has agreed to take him on and so we will start visiting soon. if only we had found her sooner all this might have been avoided, but we learn by our mistakes! again thank you and congratulations on being an expectant mum. look forward to hearing about it all. please keep in touch tracey and tyler
