Has anyone's dog had diarrhea after Panacure worming treatment (where you give it over three consecutive days)? Poor Alfie (ten week old pointer) is doing very liquid poos and I'm assuming it must be due to the Panacure as I haven't introduced anything different to his diet and his poos were normal before I started with the treatment.

Panacur gave both my dogs very bad diahorrea (sp). Now I use Drontal, and no upset tums:)

That's funny because I used Panacure because I'd read that it was less likely to cause a reaction than Drontal. I think it was on this website that I'd seen someone post a message that one of his dogs had had a severe reaction to Drontal. I guess each dog is different so you don't know how they'll react. Thanks for your reply. Hope it doesn't last too long!

this can happen with any wormer. If the pup is otherwiose well, a little infant kaolin for a day will soon firm him up gain. aAso a table sppoon of Bio yogurt will help settle his tum.
