my 6 pups need a foster mum urgently as their mum is not interested and they dont like bottle feeding!! please help i am near lincoln/gainsborough thanks helen

I have posted a message on another group I belong to hopefully they will know someone in your area who can help you. How old are the pups?? I bottle feed my pups using SMA Gold have you tried this.

i am in nth east lincs have a shih tzu thou so not sure she would cope with the demands...

Has anything happened? Found a foster mum yet? How are the pups and mum, and more importantly how are you? If only... I lived closer and Babz wasn't on medicine! Shes a lab/collie and going through a heavy phantom, producing milk out of 6 nipples (perfect!) She wants puppies- So badly. Im taking her for long walks to take her mind off of things. I would love to help you, i am facinated with the whole puppy thing, and love animals! Things can only get better.

hi everyone,thanks for your e/mails,3 of the pups have been taken to be reared by a very experienced bulldog breeder and they are doing well.I still have 3 and are slowly getting mum used to the idea that she has to do the work,she is taking a bit more interest now and will let me hold her down so that they can feed,so fingers cross for us all.Me i look like poo and still have not slept or eaten,but at least my figure is trimmer. lots of luv helen xxx

Fingers crossed for you - it should be slightly easier for you with fewer puppies. Hope the ones being fostered thrive too.

hello,pups doing well,i am another story!! the 3 being fostered are doing great and my three have all grown from a birth weight of 1lb 8oz to the smallest at 2lb 5oz now so they are putting on weight nicely,mums milk is drying up slightly so my vet has given her a shot to help keep the milk flowing hopefully!! we are getting there slowly,thanx to everyone that has had some advice or e-mailed me. helen xx
