I have just bought a beautiful Golden retriever puppy which I hope to show, but it still has it's Dew claws, does this affect it in anyway as I know some breeds have them removed when they are about 3 days old.

If they are on the front leags then that is perfectly normal, and in some breeds some leave them be and some have them removed. Hind Dews inGoldens at least are not usual and should have been removed. Some judges might see it as a fault, but depends how big and obvious they are, as Golden Retrievers have hairy legs.
