Hi, I wonder if anyone on this board can help. My mum has recently been diagnosed with MS and as a result has had to give up work. She would dearly love a companion dog and was thinking of either a toy poodle or miniature yorkshire terrier. I have been searching without luck for a young dog or pup for her but have had no luck. Could anyone please help me locate one preferably in the West Yorkshire area but I am willing to travel a little further. My e-mail is Tashia66@btinternet.com
I would be very grateful for any assistance I receive. If you have a puppy or young dog for sale could you please send details of price etc.
Many thanks
Jayne

hi guest tell your mum not to give up hope, as i was diagnosed with ms 4 yrs ago ,and the dog i always wanted was a lab so i thought that it wasn't meant to be, but luckerly my family persaided me otherwise and we got amber approx 8 months after my diagnoseis, it was the best thing i ever done, as 4 yrs later on i ahve walked further and gone out and met more people in the last 4 yrs than i had done in the last 25yrs infact we have a second dog now, and i still can go our with both provided they are on a head collar.my neurologist thinks it may have been a factor in my continued good health. all the best to your mum, and if you need any more advice clik on my name and send me a e-mail
