well i get home yesterday to find i have no cable tv at all,phoned them up said a problem in my area,so will be ok by morning,well i get up this morning and still no cable tv errrrrrrrrrrrrr i thought,so on the phone i go and what do they say a problem with my smart card errrrrrrrrr i was not happy and still not a happy bunny,they say they cant get anyone out until tuesday so theres me with no cable and only channels1-5 what rubbish when you are used to more,oh well guess ill have to get a large back of cotton wool for my ears cause kids arnt happy either,the worst thing is i missed eastenders last night errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

hi thumper, you want to check your bill when you get it to make sure they dont charge you for the days the cable has been off, they can be quite good at that :)

my cable keeps freezing .. they keep saying its the smart card . get a new one they say its the smart card again.. thumper try switching your box of from the mains and leave it for 5 mins or so then switch it back on see if it works might take a while to come back on.. if that dosent work take the smart card out give it a wipe with a duster and put it back sometimes the dust effects it.
Hope its back on soon cant you tune chan 12345 on your tv on different channels:) cable in my area is soo rubbish we get them blaming the smart card all the time then suddenly it will come back on:P

last time it happened to me i just cancelled my subscription......surprising how fast they moved then lol.:).

hi all tried turning it of at mains loads of times makes know difference this is the first time i have had trouble the 2 yrs i have had it,its the card as they cant send a signal to it and it says fake channel which they say is something to do with the card,so have to wait for a guy to come on tuesday its a real pain,i have channels 1-5 but not the same,they offered to take some money of my bill so thats something
