Hello everyone,
Today I asked a butcher for some bones and he gave me 4 large ribs carcasses, I gave them to my dogs and about 10 min later I went to their kennel to throw away the bones and there were none! They've eaten the bones too?? Is it ok?
Many thanks.
Val

Yes perfectly ok :-)
You may find they have chalky poo but dont worry about it.

Hi val.
as carolyn said; don't worry about it. As long as the bones were not cooked; your dogs should be fine. If you are really concerned, keep an eye on them, but it has never harmed any dogs i know for them to eat raw bones.

Thank you Carolyn & Tots, I was just so worried because I thought they could only eat chicken wing's bones. They ate the ribs fast but I heard them chewing, I thought they would only get the meat out and leave the bones...They do seem fine and Athos, my sick Bullmastiff, is really enjoying raw meat and he is always begging for more. I also have to cook them rice and mix it with raw meat because my girl Gia seems to like it more this way and she was losing weight.
