Just out of interest, i was wondering what do you feed your Great Danes, Mine was on Burgess complete for working and sporting dogs supplemented with raw mince (chicken/beef/lamb or tripe). About 3 months ago she went off the Burgess, i then tried Eukanuba and she hated that. Being at the supermarket with the dog in mind i just picked up the lowest protein one i could find which was Bakers complete which she loves, but someone mentioned on here it was carp?
She now has one Mainly raw mince with bakers mixed then at tea time has Butchers tripe with Bakers. Twice a week i mix tuna in with it, and also twice a week she has half a block of cheese mixed.
I was wondering to change her to James Wellbeloved?

Personally, I wouldn't use Bakers.

Mine are on Burns Vennison and Rice. Absolutely brilliant. Best food ever. They have a breakfast of Burns, soaked, and a dinner of raw green tripe with Burns. They also get tuna, scrambled eggs, all the left overs, rice, pasta, anything we don't eat goes in the dogs.

They also get natural yoghurt occasionally.

Chloe do you just get burns from the pet supplier? I have sent off for some James Wellbeloved samples so i will try that and see what she likes if not i will try the burns.
I am not overly happy myself feeding her bakers but at the time i got it she loved it, and until now i didn't think to change but may be it's not so good after all...

Hi - try Burns. They will deliver to your door. Ring them up and ask them for a sample.
