You probably mean Autarky! There have been some postings on this dog food - go into 'search' and type in autarky - should be some people's opinions on there.

Hi, Ive recently changed over to Autarky and my 2 love it and it also firms their number 2's up a bit. I pay something like £14 for a 15kg bag, that lasts my two staffies quite a while. You'll be surprised at first because if you go by the feeding guidelines on the bag it seem a really small amount, but saying that, Teddy seems to have put on a bit of weight since he's been eating it.

BTW, I mix a couple spoonfuls of Butcher's tinned tripe in with it, as Im trying to get them to put a bit of weight on, clean bowls every time with this combination :)

My year old lab bitch is fed Autarky and absolutely loves it. I'm happy too because it's good value & availlable in Tesco's.

I am a fan of both Arden Grange and now Autarky. I like the fact that it has a high meat content (after all a dog is designed to assimilate most of it's nutrients from animal protein sources) and I like the herbs and vegetables too.

I've posted this reply before but am happy to do so again. I have used Autarky for my working spaniels for over a year now (and have just changed the cat to the feline version). I am very very happy with the results and for the first time ever the dogs have put on weight. I do as Suzanne does and mix a small amount of Butchers Tripe into it and it goes down a treat.

I pay £11.49 a 15kg sack at my local Animal Feed supplier, Sainsburys sell small bags but it obviously works out more expensive. I can't recommend it highly enough - they are a really helpful company too so if you have any queries then just give them a call.
