Can anyone tell whats the earliest they have known a bitch to have her first season, as my 5 month old boxer bitch seems to be showing some signs but not sure if shes to young her mother was 11 months. Any info welcome.

Every bitch is different but in my experience the smaller the breed the earlier the first season. Through the years I have had Yorkies that came into season at 5mths up to a Siberian that have not had a season until she was 2yrs old so really the best people to talk to would be people who have the same breed, don't worry about her as long as she doesn't get near a dog you will be okay.
