How do I find / search for a stud whit good hunting records?

The system in the UK is different to Europe. Although a form of *hunting* records are kept, they are not logged in the same manner that they are on the continent. Shame really, because I found the dogs log books to be an ideal way of assessing individual dogs abilities. What breed were you looking at ?
