Sorry...but dogs are not presents....I certainly wouldnt get one...If the "adult" wants one...surely they wouod be getting one, or would have got one themselves???
There could be several reasons why they havent...reasons they may not have told you...lack of money, time, future plans that you do not know about...etc etc....
Please dont get a dog as a present, whoever it is for....it isnt fair on the dog...and surely the person would want to chose one themselves anyway.
Its one thing to "fall in love" with the breed...doesnt mean you want one..or are able to have one.
I love Tigers...but I shant be getting one.
