Hi, Harry my Shih Tzu has had a sore armpit for a month or so, thought it could have been a clipper burn but Im really careful and keep them cool. He doesnt seem too bothered, there is no patches anywhere else, any ideas what it is ?

Have you had the vet have a look ? Could be just a "Hot Spot"

You can use Aloe Vera Gel on hot spots & it can help IMHO of course. It is the gel & not ointment
